What is the difference between CNC cutting machine and CNC router?

1. The structure of CNC router makes it impossible to open materials for a long time. Normally, the mainstream configuration of CNC router is still based on stepping motors. If it is processed for a long time, it is easy to lose steps due to the heating of the coil in the motor, which directly affects the engraving accuracy.

2. The running speed of CNC router is relatively slow, because the stepper motor used by ordinary CNC router, while the cutting machine is a servo motor, and are equipped with a reducer, which must have sufficient power and stable operation.

3. The common CNC router does not locate the cylinder, resulting in large errors in the machining process. In addition, panel furniture needs to be punched and slotted on the front and back, and the lack of positioning cylinders will also cause errors in the hole pitch.

4. Ordinary CNC router is basically a spindle, and there is no way to realize automatic tool change. If you want to process complex processes, you need to manually change the tool, which wastes manpower and time. The CNC cutting machine can switch between multiple cutter heads to achieve three cutter heads. Or automatic tool change with four tool heads and roulette tool magazine.

The simple summary is that the CNC cutting machine that the CNC router can do can do it, but the CNC router that the cutting machine can do can't.
