Panel furniture production lines are used by furniture companies. In the long-term use process, the tools will inevitably wear out. Failure to replace them in time will affect the production efficiency and quality, but when to replace them, we need to be able to reasonably grasp the tool wear.
1. According to the tool life table, some equipment manufacturing or single-product mass production companies use it to guide production. This method is suitable for aerospace, steam turbine, and automotive key components such as engines that have requirements for processing workpieces.
2. Look at the tool wear. When the rake face wears and cuts plastic materials, the chips and the rake face contact each other, mainly forming crescent crater wear.
3. Look at the machining process. If there are intermittent and irregular sparks during the machining process, it means that the tool has worn out, so change the tool in time.
4. Look at the color and shape of the iron filings. The color of the iron filings changes, indicating that the processing temperature has changed, which may be due to tool wear.
5. Listening to the sound, the processing vibration is intensified, and abnormal noise will be produced when the tool is not fast. If the workpiece has serious burrs when the tool is cut out, the roughness decreases, and the workpiece size changes are also tool wear.
